In most tools a hazard or incident is a form with a free-text location, “near the shear,” lost in an inbox. The risk picture lives in binders and spreadsheets, and compliance is a matter of policy rather than something the software guarantees.

Safety is the fourth Connected Worker pillar. Every issue, hazard, and permit is anchored to a real point in your 3D twin, and every corrective action and approval runs through a workflow enforced on the server, all the way to an OSHA-ready log.

A heatmap layer buckets issues and hazards into grid cells across the twin over a 30, 90, or 365-day window. Hot zones light up in red, so a manager knows exactly where to focus, and where scheduled work is about to meet high risk.

CAPAs with segregation of duties

Every corrective and preventive action captures root cause, the fix, an assignee, and a due date, then moves to verification. The person who verifies a CAPA can never be the one it was assigned to, and the server enforces it.

Permit-to-work, signed in order

Build a permit with a validity window, PPE, and a work zone anchored in the twin, then a multi-step approval chain. Each step can only be signed by its named approver, in sequence, enforced server-side. Approved permits render live in the tour.
